There are several ways you can be involved with the ministry of ISM NZ: financially, prayerfully, as a volunteer or even joining staff. Below are some options:

Prayer

ISM values prayer. We are keen to link persons who will pray for our ministry, organise prayer groups or will link to one of our staff to pray for them.

Direct Participation

ISM values those who want to help. We especially appreciate those who will be available to be a friend to a new international and will help them to settle into NZ. We appreciate those who help us with organising activities; offering accommodation, donating furniture and any practical assistance. There are opportunities for people to train with us for cross-cultural work and to serve as ISM NZ volunteers and staff.

Financial Support

ISM operations, staff and missionaries are supported by the gifts of interested friends, businesses and churches. Each ISM staff is responsible to raise personal support. To ministry freely, ISM NZ are expected to be at 100% of their approved budgets. These budgets include living expenses, taxes, and ministry expenses including travel.

Would you prayerfully consider becoming a financial ministry partner. Monthly gifts of $25, $50, $100, $200 are welcome, as well as one time gifts. Whatever amount the Lord places on your heart.

The Lord continues to graciously provide for the needs of ISM NZ staff through the gifts of His people. If you would like to have a part in this please contact or send your gift to the ISM NZ National Office.

If you would like your contribution to go to a specific staff member, ministry or administrative purpose, specify that with your donation. All gifts to ISM are forwarded (in total) to the people or project for which they are intended. Administration and Communications are special ministries also supported by gift income. No levies are made against staff for them. The National Office receipts and forwards all gifts sent to ISM NZ.

Giving electronically

Some have inquired about electronically supporting ISM. This can be done online through your bank or by filling out an automatic payment form provided by your bank. The main information you need is:

Please include in the payment reference field a) the name of the person or project you are giving to and b) your name and an address so we can receipt you. Please email us at office@ism.org.nz advising us of your gift and postal address or if you need further help. Thank you.
